In fact, it’s totally up to the individual, explains Global Senior Artist Carol Mackie. “You can go for a matching Lip Pencil, which will blend in, or opt for a slightly darker shade to create a more contoured lip finish. I love that Lip Pencils as they can totally change a Lipstick; I often apply the Lip Pencil over the whole lip and then Lipstick to give a multi-layered, opaque finish that is super rich and dense in colour.”
